Carolyn Carlson returns year after year with sublime contemporary dance works. For over 25 years, this Californian-born choreographer has been one of the European modern dance worlds most influential figures. Ever since 1975, when she was named toile at the Paris Opera, and given carte blanche to direct an experimental movement lab at the Palais Garnier, she has never stopped exploring and revolutionising the art of dancing. This performance focuses on the art of calligraphy with the live accompaniment of the Turkish ensemble Kudsi Erguner.
