28 Apr-17 May 2009. The contrast between Indian traditions and the glamour of the cinema comes to life in a show which looks like a typical Bollywood film. The plot of the show is based on the true story of one of the largest Indian film dynasty: the Merchant family. More than 50 dancers, singers and actors are on stage for a two-hour performance with lots of special lighting effects and colorful costumes.
Address Teatro Olimpico, Piazza G. da Fabriano, tel. 063265991. Also in Milan from 19 to 24 May at Teatro degli Arcimboldi, tel. 02641142212-214, www.teatroarcimbodi.it.
