In Carmina Burana, choreography by Mauricio Wainrot. The five-part ballet is set to the iconic score of the same name by composer Carl Orff and features the full company in a powerful and visually-stunning theatrical production. Wainrot, one of Argentina’s most celebrated choreographers, is currently the artistic director of Ballet Contemporaneo del Teatro S. Martín of Buenos Aires. Faithfully following the structure of the music, he depicts the vagaries of love with a mix of black humour and fierce joie de vivre.
