Il Forno bakery in Rome

Since 1970 locals and tourists have flocked to Il Forno, a popular but unassuming bakery located in the corner of Campo de' Fiori.

Best known for its pizza slices, in particular its pizza bianca, the bakery has a smaller outlet next door which sells a large range of handmade sandwiches to take-away.

The family-run Forno credits its 35 years of success on its bakers who merge tradition with passion, as well as its use of fresh, quality ingredients.

Bakery in Campo de' Fiori open 07.30-14.30 and 16.45-20.00. Sandwich shop next door on Vicolo del Gallo 14 open 10.30-16.45.
