30 Jan. Best-selling author Wilbur Smith will be in Rome on Wednesday 30 Jan to sign copies of his latest book "Vendetta di Sangue" (published in English as "Vicious Circle").
Smith can be found at the Libreria IBS book shop (Via Nazionale 254) at 18.30 on 30 Jan, at Libreria Borri in Termini station on Thursday 31 Jan at 12.00, and at Libreria Nuova Europa (Centro commerciale ‘I granai’) on Saturday 2 Feb at 12.00.
The main public event however takes place at 21.00 on 31 Jan at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, as a preview of the fourth edition Libri Come book festival.
The evening will see the 80-year-old author talk about his life and provide an insight into his world of adventure and the cast of characters which captivate millions of readers around the world. Smith will be in conversation with journalist Maria Grazia Capulli and the writer and radio host Loredana Lipperini.
In 2011, Smith was among the participants of the 2011 Rome International Literature Festival.
The Libri Come literary festival, which runs from 14-17 March, hosts Italian and international writers and looks at the production cycle of the publishing industry. This year its theme will be dedicated to Europe.
