White little tumuli, tiles accentuated with gawky drawings of buildings, gold or silver ikon shapes, are sheer whimsical understatements. This host of subtle echoes of the past the archaic Greek, the Art Deco of the 1920s, the recent "post-modern" are amazingly fresh. Their cunning simplicity speaks of knowledge and poetry.
