2 Nov. The celebrated Spanish architect, structural engineer, sculptor and painter Santiago Calatrava will take part in an encounter with the public at the French Academy in Villa Medici on Thursday 2 November at 20.30.
Best known for being the 'starchitect' behind numerous internationally-acclaimed buildings, Calatrava is less known for his watercolour paintings and sculptures.
This event, part of the Giovedì della Villa series, will provide an opportunity to discover how Calatrava's art informs his architectural designs. The event is free, subject to availability. See related feature article.
