Rome museums are free on 1 April with city and state museums opening specially on Easter Monday.
Italy's state-run museums and archaeological sites are open free of charge on Easter Sunday, 1 April, as part of the monthly Domenica al Museo initiative.
Rome's municipal museums are also free on 1 April, for residents of the capital, while both state and city museums will open specially on Easter Monday, or Pasquetta.
