Romaeuropa: Grand Finale by Hofesh Shechter
17-19 Oct. Romaeuropa, Rome's multidisciplinary arts festival, presents Grand Finale by the Hofesh Shechter Company at Teatro Olimpico from 17-19 October.
Death stalks Shechter's work, which imagines a world in free-fall at the end of time, and although it is bleak (The Financial Times has called it his bleakest work to date) there is also a vein of optimism.
Described by The Guardian as a "wild waltz for the end of time", Grand Finale features ten dancers accompanied by six musicians. For full details see Romaeuropa website.
