Roma Jazz Festival

The Auditorium’s annual rendezvous with jazz returns with an impressive line-up of Italian and international acts. Speech is the theme of the 37th edition of the Roma Jazz Festival which examines the links between music and literature as espoused by Beat writers Jack Kerouac and Gregory Corso, whose jazz music is enlivened with plays, literature and poetry readings. Highlights include the Joshua Redman Quartet, Futbòl, Vijay Iyer Trio, Mulatu Astatke, Haruki Murakami, Avishai Cohen, Fabrizio Bosso Quartetto, Chet Baker, and the Mingus Big Band.
