Rendez-vous French film festival

8-12 April. The fifth edition of Rendez-vous, the festival dedicated to new French cinema, is being held in Rome from 8-12 April.

The five-day festival will feature more than 30 movies, from blockbusters to independent and short films, and is designed to showcase the best of contemporary French cinema.

The event is being hosted in various locations around Rome such as Cinema Quattro Fontane, Casa Del Cinema, the French Academy at Villa Medici, and the MAXXI Museo Nazionale delle Arti del XXI secolo, and the premieres will be accompanied by encounters, debates and masterclasses by French and Italian figures from the world of cinema.

After Rome, smaller versions of the event will travel to Naples, Palermo, Bologna, Turin and Lecce.
