Ostia Antica Festival: Il Mito e il Sogno
Music festival under the stars in Ostia Antica
24 June-28 July. The third edition of the Ostia Antica Festival takes place in the Antico Teatro Romano of the archaeological park outside Rome from 24 June until 28 July.
Three of the festival's dates form part of the Rock in Roma programme and include the opening act Jeff Beck (24 June) along with Cigarettes After Sex (10 July) and Myles Kennedy (19 July).
The festival's varied line-up also features The Queen Orchestra, a musical and theatrical tribute show to Queen (7 July), Mediterranea (14 July), Nino D'Angelo (20 July), Carmina Burana (21 July), Damien Rice (22 July), Burt Bacharach (25 July), Latte e i suoi derivati (26 July) and ending on 28 July with a performance by Pink Floyd Legend.
