On Wed 28 Oct, the Vincent Pallotti Institute will celebrate the 40-year anniversary of the Second Vatican Councils document, Nostra Aetate, with a lecture entitled Forty Years Later: Catholic Education and the Reception of Nostra Aetate.

The Nostra Aetate was written during the Second Vatican Council in 1965 and is a declaration on the relationship of the Roman Catholic Church to non-Christian religions. The lecture will be presented by Archbishop Michael Miller and will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Archbishop Michael Fitzgerald. The event marks the start of a years reflection on how the document has helped Catholic education.
