Míchéal Mac Craith lecture in Rome

Lecture in English by Míchéal Mac Craith entitled Máirtín Ó Direáin (1910-1988): Islandman, Man of Aran at the Università Roma Tre - Roma on 17 December at 14.00.

Ó Direáin, who was one of the foremost Irish language poets of the 20th century, was born on the Aran Islands, off the west coast of Ireland.

Fr Mac Craith OFM is professor emeritus of the National University of Ireland, Galway, and is currently the Guardian of St Isidore's College in Rome.

The lecture is presented by the Centro di Ricerca Interdipartimentale per gli Studi Irlandesi e Scozzesi (CRISIS) and takes place in the Sala conferenze Ignazio Ambrogio.
