19 Dec 2003-29 Feb 2004. The exhibition presents a beautiful ivory mask and fragments from a group of 1st century BC sculptures found by illegal excavators near Cesano outside Rome. The findings were sold on the clandestine art market, but the sale was reported to the authorities by the excavator when he failed to obtain the agreed price. The artefacts were finally located in London by the carabinieri. 10.00-18.00. Fri-Sun 10.00-21.00.
