Human Rights and Torture

23 Sept. The American University of Rome presents Human Rights and Torture, a talk by Dr Antonio Marchesi, the president of Amnesty International Italy, on Wednesday 23 September at 19.00. Marchesi, a leading European thinker on the subject of human rights, will discuss the role of Amnesty International in preventing torture and the death penalty, as part of the university's International Relations & Global Politics Lecture series. The event is free and open to all.
