Festival of light at Rome's French Academy
16 Dec-28 Jan. The French Academy at Villa Medici hosts Ouvert la nuit, a festival of light open to the public for the free in the evenings from Friday to Sunday, between 17.00 and 22.00.
The festival features installations by 17 international artists - from Christian Boltanski to Rosa Barba - whose works illuminate the villa's gardens, surprising visitors and immersing them in a magical dreamlike atmosphere.
