7 Dec. Prof. Michael Sullivan presents his second volume of translations into English of the sonnets of Giacomo Belli, at the Più Libri Più Liberi book festival on 7 December at 11.00.
The book presentation will be accompanied by a talk focusing on the translation of Belli's poetry entitled "Li libbri nun zò rrobba da cristiano / Books isn't stuff fer God-respectin' people. La scommessa di tradurre il Belli in inglese".
The talk will feature interventions by translators Riccardo Duranti and the author Michael Sullivan who, together with Marcello Teodonio, will read from his latest work.
In March Wanted in Rome published an article on Sullivan's first volume of translations of Belli's work which was launched at Rome's John Cabot University.
