Alessandro Baricco: The Game at MAXXI in Rome

Mental revolution in the era of the internet and social media.

30 March. Writer Alessandro Baricco - a keen observer and interpreter of the phenomena of our times - will give a public talk at 18.30 on Saturday 30 March at MAXXI, Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo.

The meeting is inspired by his latest book, The Game, which traces a map of the digital revolution and reconstructs its genesis and consequences. Baricco highlights how, in an ultra-digitalised world, the truth "suddenly becomes blurred, mobile, unstable."

He will discuss this theme at MAXXI with journalist Federico Rampini, moderated by La Repubblica journalist Gregorio Botta, and introduced by Giovanna Melandri, president of the MAXXI Foundation and Bartolomeo Pietromarchi, director of MAXXI Arte.

There is free entry to the event at MAXXI, until full capacity. For full details see MAXXI website.
