New cost of living basket.
ISTAT, the Italian institute for statistics, is altering the makeup of the basket to be applied in 2007 in the determining of changes in the cost of living. The main change is the dropping of the ordinary camera, photographic film and its developing, and the battery alarm clock. In their place comes the digital camera memory card and the printing of digital photos.
