The final of the first eight-a-side football tournament "Senza frontiere" (without borders) takes place on 16 July. The event was organised by the Associazione Senza Frontiere and the Associazione Romana Pro Juventute to promote integration between Italians and foreigners living in Rome, using football to help different communities get to know each other. The Senza Frontiere squad includes players from Liberia, Ethiopia, Iran, India, Capo Verde and other countries. Ten teams have been taking part in the tournament, two of which will be battling it out in the final at the Centro S. Tarcisio, Lungotevere Dante 5, near Ponte Marconi and Basilica S. Paolo metro station. The event starts at 20.00. For more information, donations (including football boots) or if you would like to take part in future events, tel. 333/4147014-333/4294291-339/2182821.
