6-18 March 2007. Songs by Bertold Brecht, translated by Giorgio Strehler and Helena Janazek, directed by Cristina Pezzoli. The Italian superstar singer, Milva, began her career back in 1959 when she won an important popular contest for new voices, and was named the overall winner from more than 7,000 participants. In 1965, a fortunate meeting led to a definitive change in her career: Italo-German actor, dramatist and director Giorgo Strehler helped to develop her skills in staging and singing and she began to perform a more committed repertoire including songs from Bertold Brecht
