Rome farmers' market at Circus Maximus
A weekly farmers' market, Campagna Amica, takes place on Saturdays and Sundays just beside Circo Massimo.
Each weekend food producers and farmers from the Lazio region sell their locally-produced fresh foods including cheeses, olive oil, cured meats, honey, organic wine, sausages and truffles.
There are often children's activities and food tastings, and visitors can also have lunch at the bustling market, selecting the ingredients of their choice.
