10 July-12 Sept. This summer Rome's Museo Nazionale delle Arti del XXI secolo (MAXXI) dedicates four evenings to the culture, dance, music and food of China, Africa, India and Argentina.
The series begins with China on 10 July, from 20.00-22.00, with traditional performances by the Chinese Contemporary Dance Company, directed by the dancer and choreographer Yang Yu Lin, and the Centro Promozione Danza.
Visitors can also enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine served in picnic boxes, costing €13 each. The event takes place in the Piazza del MAXXI, Spazio YAP, and entry is free.
The Great Nights cultural programme continues on 24 July with Africa; 4 Sept with India; and 12 Sept with Argentina.
