This is the 16th edition of the festival founded and directed by stage director and set designer Enrico Castiglione. In line with tradition, sacred music concerts performed by top class ensembles and musicians take place in the churches and basilicas of Rome. One of the aims of the festival, which is widely broadcast on television, is to revive neglected or forgotten sacred music scores. Entrance to the concerts, organised almost daily, is free on a first-come-first-served basis. Tel. 0664829220, www.festivaldipasqua.org.
