7-9 July. The third edition of La Città Incantata (The Enchanted City) sees Italian and international animators, cartoonists, illustrators and street artists uniting for three days in the spectacular mediaeval hilltop town of Civita di Bagnoregio.

The international group of designers is once again meeting to “save the world”, including Civita, which is reached by a footbridge across a valley in the province of Viterbo, 110km north of Rome. 

This year's edition features Italian cartoonist and satirist Altan, accompanied by his most famous creation Pimpa, the red and white polka-dot cartoon puppy; the Dutch animator, director and illustrator Michaël Dudok de Wit whose film The Red Turtle was nominated for an Oscar last year; the Croatian comic book artist and illustrator Danijel Žeželj; and Roman comic artist Lorenzo Ceccotti.
