Car boot sale on Sundays in Rome.

5 March. A car boot sale takes place in the grounds of the Città dell'Altra Economia (ex Mattatoio) in Testaccio on Sunday 5 March, from 10.00-18.00.

The market's organisers, Opificio delle Arti, say their car boot sale is based around the English model, whereby people sell items that are no longer wanted but still in good condition.

Rome's Car Boot Market has been in existence for several years and features up to 80 car-fulls of second-hand items, including vintage clothes, vinyl records, jewellery and bric-a-brac. Organisers say the car boot sale attracts both Romans and foreigners, and is particularly popular with families.
