1 April-25 Sept 2004. The life and times of the Emperor Hadrian seen through the eyes of the women that surrounded him; powerful Roman matrons who accompanied him and favoured him in his ascent to power. The exhibition, in the museum inside his villa, includes busts and statues of his mother, his mother-in-law, his sisters and his long-suffering wife Sabina.
