Man armed with pistol robbed six shops in S. Giovanni and Appio Latina areas of Rome.
Rome police are on the search for a criminal who carried out six armed robberies in the space of 25 minutes in the S. Giovanni and Appio Latino districts of the city, according to online newspaper RomaToday.
The robberies, which occurred on the afternoon of Monday 9 September, were carried out in quick succession at three supermarkets, two pharmacies and a bakery.
The robber, who was wearing a black shirt, was driving a motorbike which he stole at gunpoint earlier that day in Garbatella.
The armed robberies follow a similar case that occurred on 26 August, when an unidentified man armed with a pistol robbed six shops in the Ostiense and Testaccio districts, also within half an hour.
