The 40th anniversary of the acquisition of Villa Doria Pamphili by the city council will be marked by a four-day festival in what is now the largest public park in Rome. The celebrations will include music, dance and theatre performances on two stages in front of Palazzo Corsini at the centre of the park and throughout the gardens. Artists, sculptors and photographers who live and work in the 16th municipio, in which the villa lies, will exhibit their work along the park's paths. "Una Splendida Quarantenne" takes place 12-15 June, 11.00-23.00.
