ANZAC Day in Rome.
Originally held to commemorate members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who fought at Gallipoli in Turkey in world war one, ANZAC Day on 25 April is now a day when these two countries pay tribute to all members of their armed forces who died in both world wars and in action since. This year, the remembrance service in Rome will be held at the Rome War Cemetery, Via Nicola Zabaglia, on 25 April at 11.00.
