Step back in time with family recipes in a 1940s-style Roman trattoria.

Tram Tram is an old-fashioned trattoria serving tasty, traditional Roman cuisine alongside Pugliese fish dishes in the heart of the S. Lorenzo district of Rome.

Diners at Tram Tram are provided with a warm welcome from three generations of the Di Vittoria family and the decor is reminiscent of a 1940s-style Roman tavern.

The menu features dishes such as Pajata, Spaghetti alla Chitarra con asparagi e gamberi, Puntarelle, Baccalà, and Coda alla vaccinara, polished off with excellent home-made tiramisù or strudel di castagne.

Despite its proximity to a tram stop, the unassuming Tram Tram does not attract many tourists. However it does a brisk trade with a loyal local fanbase and the lucky few who stumble across it by chance.
