Marymount Summer School

The learning never stops at Marymount – even in summer.  While children need a break from the rigors of the academic year, they also need to stay active and engaged during the summer months. At Marymount’s Summer Camp, children spend their days enjoying a variety of creative, physical, and social activities while under the supervision of caring and dedicated staff.  All activities take place on the school’s beautiful grounds, which offer plenty of green space for outdoor play plus well-equipped classrooms, a newly renovated swimming pool, and a variety of outdoor sports facilities.
Aside from staying active and having fun, children will continue to develop their English language skills through total immersion in English throughout the day. The camp is open to all children, regardless of their level of English. Even those completely new to English will feel right at home and see results quickly. All summer campers receive a snack in the morning and afternoon as well as lunch, all prepared by the school’s catering service.

Each week, all participants are engaged in the following activities:

Sports & Games - Have fun playing soccer, basketball, and tennis as well as fun-filled games.

Drama - Learn to perform on stage and better those acting skills using rehearsal and performing techniques.

Music & Singing - Learn and sing great songs in English and play musical instruments.

Art - Develop your own artistic style with papier-mâché, painting, drawing, and collage.

Creative Writing - Exercise your imagination and work on your writing skills.

Swimming - Splash away and cool down after a day of fun.

Games Day - Every Friday share what you have learned during the week through group activities, including sports, performances, artwork, and songs.
