1 March. The association Cymry yn Rhufain - Welsh in Rome presents a lecture at the church of S. Silvestro at 18.30 on Thursday 1 March, St David's Day, in celebration of the national day of Wales. Ann Rees will give a talk entitled Non - Saint and mother: notes on the life of Saint Non. According to Christian tradition, Non was the mother of St David, the patron saint of Wales. There will be refreshments including Welsh cakes, and organisers say that anyone with Welsh connections is particularly welcome. For more details tel. 0644230361.
