15 June-14 July 2003. This exciting programme features an event not to be missed: Boris Eifman and his Ballet Theatre of St Petersburg. Eifman is probably the most famous contemporary Russian choreographer, and here he presents a piece set to Mozarts Requiem, as well as a work entitled My Jerusalem (11 July). Italian choreographer Virgilio Sieni dances in one of his own solos, Bachs Goldberg Variations, on 14 July. Virgilio Sienis company performs Messaggero Muto (15 July); Tangokinesis is in Operatango, choreography by Ana Maria Stekelman (21 July), and finally the legendary Italian contemporary dance company Corte Sconta performs Rien ne va plus on 25 July.
