19 June-27 July 2003. The summer gathering of the Democratici di Sinistra (DS) is at the former general market in Ostiense. Following the provincial elections in May which saw the DS become Romes biggest party, this years theme is "Now were building the alternative". The festival includes exhibitions, debates, food and music.
