Traffic-free Sundays to return to Rome
New series of anti-smog Sundays will begin in December.
Rome's city council has announced a new round of domeniche ecologiche during which traffic will be banned from the fascia verde (green belt) as part of measures to curb air pollution.
The first traffic-free Sunday is scheduled for 11 December, followed by 22 January, 26 February and 26 March, from 07.30-12.30 and from 16.30-20.30.
