Rome closes all city parks and cemeteries for weekend.
Rome mayor Virginia Raggi has ordered the closure of all parks, cemeteries and historic villas in the city for three days.
The order, which coincides with the closure of the city's schools, is effective from Friday 13 December until Sunday 15 December, with reopening expected on Monday 16 December.
The ordinance follows a warning of severe weather conditions in Rome and the Lazio region.
