Pollution levels dangerous at Rome's Malagrotta landfill

Italian environmental group Legambiente has described as "alarming" the level of pollution at the landfill site Malagrotta, situated west of Rome near Via Aurelia. Tests carried out at the dump between February and May this year by Arpa Lazio, the regional environmental protection agency, reveal a continuing deterioration of the already contaminated state of the area
