Nearly half of working Italians do not take their full holiday entitlement, according to a report by public relations company Edelman for Expedia the travel website. 47 per cent of Italians fail to use six days of their 33 day holiday entitlement each year. The reasons include not wanting to be away from the office for too long, preferring the money instead, and keeping holidays in reserve for emergencies with young children.
