12 Lazio ultras arrested for clashes in Piazza Risorgimento.

Another Celtic fan was stabbed in Rome in the early hours of 8 November, according to Corriere dello Sport, following Celtic's defeat of SS Lazio 2-1 in a Europa League rematch at the Stadio Olimpico.

The incident took place at around 02.30 outside a McDonalds outlet on Viale Giulio Cesare, in the captial's Prati district, when a 20-year-old Scottish supporter was stabbed in the back by an aggressor who fled the scene by boarding a city bus.

The Celtic fan is recovering in S. Spirito hospital and his injuries are not life-threatening.

The victim was the third Celtic fan to be stabbed in Rome in recent days; two others were stabbed outside the Flann O'Brien Irish pub on Via Nazionale on the eve of the game.

Police also arrested 12 Lazio ultrà supporters in Piazza Risorgimento, near the Vatican, during clashes after the match, reports Corriere dello Sport.
