QUANTUM LIFE 2.0 - Women’s stories, affinities and wishes

The Tuscan choreographer Marika Vannuzzi signs Quantum life 2.0, a choral and multimedia show. At the helm of Manipura, Free Artists Spontaneous Movement, she explores female interiority. Eight dancers on stage Sunday 15 December (at 9 pm at the Auditorium Due Pini - via Zandonai 2, Vigna Stelluti, Roma), will revisit, using the quantum metaphor of the overlap, the complexity of being a woman. A message articulated in several meanings, which always tells in a continuous stream, new stories where different individualities meet each other. Crossing paths of life: desires, questions, attractions, affinities that lead to shared female intimacy with a secret agreement, where the bodies become the silent voice, narrative thread of the entire performance. An intimate and dreamlike scenic space where you can recognize yourself through dance, listening to emotions, memories and fears, in a multimedia dramaturgy enriched by video projections for an interaction between images and dancers. The soundtrack is suggestive with the music of some of the most significant composers of the contemporary panorama, such as Ludovico Einaudi, Philip Glass, Giovanni Sollima and the Neapolitan trio Ashram.

Marika Vannuzzi, born in Tuscany, completes her dance training at the Professionelle Center in Lyon. Returned in Italy after several scholarships in Rome, she meets the choreographer Vittorio Biagi, becoming his Soloist dancer and Assistant. For the Biagi company she debutsin the Choreography when she’s just 20 years old, supporting the activity of dancer performing in the most important theaters and national and International Festivals.

She increases her anatomical dynamics knowledge through the study of GYROTONIC and GYROKINESIS, Juliu Horvath’s system of movement. Understanding the space and the forces where the body moves, she creates a new expressive language born using movement as an emotional tool.

In 2004 she founded Manipura, an "immaterial artistic residence" where different artistic personalities converge, each one with his own ability to be expressed.

In 2011 she is one of the Founding Members of the White Cloud Opera and creates the first show of the Company, as a director and choreographer. “Timeless” debuts in Berlin and later shows in Rome at the Palladium Theater, the Olimpico Theater and the Auditorium della Conciliazione.

Today, with a completely female company, 8 women on the stage, Manipura experiments the visions of Marika Vannuzzi on the universe of women and their condition.
