St. Stephen’s school summer programs in Rome 2013

St. Stephen's School offers two separate summer programs in Italy, offering boarding opportunities for students from around the world, and day school for students who live in the greater Rome area.
The Arts & Humanities program is taught by the distinguished faculty of St. Stephen's school, along with exceptional local teachers. 2013 dates are June 30 - July 13.
The Brown University-St. Stephen's School Pre-College Summer Program in Rome is taught by a combination of instructors from both Brown University Summer Program and St. Stephen's School. 2013 dates for this program are July 14 - August 3.
Students in both study abroad programs enroll in a language course (Italian or Latin), a core course (focusing on ancient Rome or Renaissance Art), and an elective course.
There are breaks between classes, and a study hall period in the afternoons. The school's library and computer labs are open and available to students throughout the day.
Students room alongside resident assistants who schedule afternoon sports activities and visits to cultural events around Rome in the evenings. Weekends include visits to exciting locations around Italy, such as Pompeii, Sorrento, Siena, and Florence.
The Summer Programs at St. Stephen's School are English-speaking, and are open to all high school students as well as rising 8th and 9th graders.
