2 Feb. The American Expats for Positive Change is holding a one-hour vigil outside the American embassy in Rome, in protest over President Trump's executive order banning refugees and citizens from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the US, on Thursday 2 February from 20.00.
Organisers say the vigil is to "peacefully demonstrate to the new administration and to any political sympathisers here in Italy that expats, Italian citizens and global citizens alike stand firmly against any form of xenophobia, religious discrimination and racism."
For more information about the vigil, which is open to all, contact AEPC00@gmail.com, tel. 345 / 1753199 or see event page.
