Rome has never really been an attractive city for rock concerts and rock stars. However, as summer offerings dwindle year after year due to financial cuts this little festival, which initially shared a space with a sprawling Latino festival that is no more, has grown. Not only has the number of concerts increased, but its flavour has become more international. This year the festival brings a line-up of big names on the rock music scene such as Portishead, Snoop Dog, The Cure, Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger of The Doors, Lenny Kravitz, Kasabian, Goran Bregovic, Ben Harper, The Beach Boys, Simple Minds and many more.
