1 Nov-1 March. The Galleria Nazionale is holding an online beauty contest based on 70 portraits in its collection, 35 women and 35 men.

Directed by the artist Paco Cao, the competition involves the pre-selection of 18 portraits from each category between now and January, with the shortlisted candidates then vying for the Miss and Mister Galleria Nazionale crown.

Members of the public are invited to select the "most beautiful portrait" using the following criteria: "physical appearance, demeanour and attitude, regardless of the style or technical quality of the works."
