Jubilee of Mercy Conference at Rome's Irish College

18-19 Nov. Rome's Pontifical Irish College will host the Jubilee of Mercy Conference on 18 and 19 November to mark the conclusion of the Vatican's Holy Jubilee Year of Mercy.

Speakers at the two-day conference will include Archbishop Rino Fisichella, President of the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelisation, who will share his unique insights as the one tasked by Pope Francis to oversee the Extraordinary Jubilee Year; theologian Dr Mary McCaughey will reflect on mercy and our understanding of God; and Fr Roberto Cherubini of the Community of S. Egidio will speak about merciful outreach to the poor, drawing on his ministry to the poor in Rome.
