An evening of Balanchine (Serenade), Millepied (Closer), Forsythe (Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude), and Nureyev (Raymonda) with the etoiles, first ballerinas and the ballet corps of the Teatro dell'Opera. The new artistic director of the ballet at the opera house, Eleonora Abbagnato, dances in the Millepied choreography Closer. It is the first time she will be dancing since she was appointed director of Rome ballet corps last year. She will be partnered by Florian Magnenet from the Teatro dell' Opera di Parigi, Piazza Beniamino Gigli 7, www.operaroma.it.
