Bat Night in Rome

Rome's Museum of Zoology presents "Bat Night - La notte dei pipistrelli" on Saturday 13 July at 19.45. The 2.5-hr tour takes place in the environs of Villa Borghese, the large park surrounding the museum. A chiropterologist leads what is described as an unusual and exciting tour of Villa Borghese, where participants will have the opportunity to observe closely the hidden world of bats. Tour meets at 19.45 at Piazzale del Giardino Zoologico. Comfortable shoes are recommended, as is bringing a torch. The tours are suitable for both children and adults. For full details see website.
