50 Roman roundabouts up for private sponsorship.

Rome's mayor Virginia Raggi has invited private companies and individuals to sponsor a Roman roundabout, following the introduction of new legislation.

There is a choice of 50 roundabouts, located across Rome, whose flowers and shrubs can be paid for by private firms in exchange for advertising their company name on the site.

The mayor has described the initiative as a "winning model, above all for citizens."
